I Know You’ll Get Through This

17 Oct

“Things may not seem to be working out for you now, but I know you and I know you’ll make the best of this situation.

I know that you will keep on doing everything you can ~ a day at a time ~ and you will get through this triumphantly…

Try not to worry. Try to look at what you’re going through as a challenge rather than an obstacle, a time to develop patience. Have confidence in yourself, and realise that you can change your attitude even if you can’t change the circumstances.

Look closely at your troubles. Don’t let them cause you to give up. Befriend them and learn from them. Feel them lose their power over you. Allow them to teach you what you want to know and move on. Try not to be afraid.

You’re a survivor. You’re going to handle this. You’re going to find the strength you didn’t know you had and grace to deal with whatever comes along. Pretty soon, you’ll be on the other side, and it’s just a matter of time until you will look back on this time in your life and draw strength from the knowledge that even though the road was rocky, you persevered and carried on”

am at another turning point in my life, and i just had to remember the cards and notes i recieved.

this card was given to me at a time when i felt my life was at the lowest.

running through these words again, immediately brought tears to my eyes, and visions of whys and what ifs.

tingling feeling at my fingertips……………

“people hardly know what there is in the calm and serene faces we portray to them. nobody knows what there is in us. we appear normal to them; we appear happy and satisfied of life; but only few know the sorrow and agony thats running in us”

yes. still is true.

only that now, the few who knew the sorrow and agony have left that part of their lives behind and moved on.

the time has come for me to look forward. to move forward. to help make changes for the ppl who need it.

and maybe someday soon, i will be on the other side, looking back at this point in my life, and realise i have reached.

maybe i will reach that point someday.
